  • Kerry has been a member of the Indigo Blue design team (Blubirds) for a year now working with all sorts of mixed media and Indigo Blue Stamps. Here is what she says about herself.

"I’ve crafted for as long as I can remember, always cutting and sticking when I was a kid! My two boys love to craft with me and each have their own journals where they keep painting and collages going! I cross stitch and crochet between mixed media projects but my love is certainly with getting messy with inks, paints, stamping. I love to give old books a new lease of life and I like to die cut old cardboard packaging to use in my projects! I’m also a keen baker when I have the time!"

  • Powertex is a universal medium/fabric hardener and is an environmentally friendly, non toxic, water-based liquid sculpting medium and can harden absorbent materials such as cloth, fabric, textiles, paper, cardboard, leather and fiberglass which following 3 weeks curing/drying time is weather resistant. Powertex can be easily combined with self-hardening clays, concrete, stone, ceramic, wood, sand and Stone Art which can be used for making sculptures, paintings, decorative objects and jewellery. Powertex air dries but using warm air from a blow dryer or radiator accelerates the drying time and once dry your artwork can be decorated with oil paints, acrylics or Powercolor/pigments mixed with easy varnish

  • Gelli Plates are made from non toxic mineral oil and are reccomended for use with acrylic paints so  that you print with them on all sorts of surfaces including fabric. You can also use them with water based inks designed for block printing but the world is your oyster once you start playing! Come and learn how.
